The Worlds Best Airlines Awards

The international travel magazine Global World Traveler wards has recognized top airlines in the word in overall customer satisfaction, in flights service and other criteria. Besides this they have also announced the best airlines in various categories and regions. Here is the complete list of all airlines that were recognized in various categories.  The airlines wards were announced as a result of voting by more than 18.8 million airline passengers from 100 different nationalities. The World Airline Awards are the most prestigious and respected airlines quality recognition of front-line product and service standards across the world airline industry.   Featuring more than 200 airlines, the world airlines awards are based on diverse customer satisfaction levels spread across 38 different items of airline front-line product and service.

Qatar Airways: Best Airlines of the World:
Qatar Airways is named as the Worlds Best Airline: The Doha based Qatar airlines was named the best airlines in Overall performance and customer satisfaction. The airlines also operate a large number of Fleets across all continents and are the largest Growing airlines in the world in terms of Fleet size and destinations offered.

British Airways
British Airways has been the world's Best Business Class lounge award for its Galleries Lounges at Terminal 5 at London Heathrow Airport. The awards come under the category of customer Product and Service Quality. The London based airlines have been expanding and now Asia is in its Radar with Countries like India forming a major segment of its Customers.  Virgin Atlantic Airways was ranked the second for their Business Class lounge at London Heathrow Airport followed by Cathay Pacific Airways lounges at Hong Kong Int'l Airport.

Cathay Pacific Airways
Cathay Pacific was awarded the best airlines in terms of comfortable First Class seats offered on its flights. Etihad Airways and Singapore airlines took the Second and third positions respectively. The airlines have always been favored by the premium class passengers and this wards confirms to its five star category.
Turkish Airlines
Turkish Airlines is named as Best Airline in Europe in the world Air Show being held at Paris. The runners-up in this category are Swiss Intl Air Lines taking 2nd place in the category, ahead of Lufthansa in 3rd position. Turkish airlines has always been known for its in flight Food that are served and with it offering more destinations on its platter the Turkish airlines is set to play a bigger role in Middle East Aviation.
Etihad Airways
Abu Dhabi based Etihad Airways was adjudged the best airlines I terms of first class catering and Product Quality. The airlines were followed by Singapore Airlines taking 2nd place within the category, ahead of Qantas Airways in 3rd position. One of the largest expanding airlines in the world Etihad is always known for its top of the lines catering services and in flights food servings besides customer comfort and satisfaction.
Emirates Airlines
If there is one airline that really innovates in terms of In flights passenger amenities and entertainment it cannot be other than Emirates Airlines. The airlines was named best airlines in the category of  In flight Entertainment award followed by  Singapore airlines and Cathay Pacific Airways. Whether it is Communication, availability of More than 1200 Channels from all countries to latest Information Emirates airlines does it all with elegance and innovation.
Kingfisher Airlines
The recent troubles not withstanding, Kingfisher Airlines was named the Best Airline India and Central Asia for its top of the lines customer and in flight services. The airlines were followed by Jet Airways and Srilankan airlines. The airlines has some of the most distinguishes Cabin crew and in flight services making it a chosen service provider for business travelers.
Oman Air
Oman Air has been named the winner of the World's Best Business Class Airline Seat award at the 2011 World Airline Awards being held in Paris. Singapore Airlines took the second place within the category, followed by of Qatar Airways.

Singapore Airlines
One of the worlds leading carrier in terms of fleet, passenger safety and entertainment, the Singapore airlines fly to five continents. The airlines holds the distinction of operating the first fleet of  the bigger Airbus carriers, A380, and flies to 62 destinations across 35 countries from its hub in Singapore.
The airlines are the strongest airlines in the South East Asia region and have a huge Middle East presence and faces competitors like Emirates and Etihad. Together with Silk air it has largest detonations to offer than any other Asian airlines. With the alliance with Virgin, the Airlines will surely have more to offer.

Asiana Airlines
One of South Koreas Primary airlines, Asiana Airlines the airlines have its primary hub at Gimpo International Airport besides its international hub at Incheon International Airport. Asiana is  also a member of the famous Star Alliance. The airlines has 516 daily flights throughout Asia, Europe, North
America, and Oceania and at present operates on 14 domestic and 85 international passenger routes. Besides it also operates on 20 Cargo routes. Besides being named in the top 5 airlines of the world by Global travelers magazine, in 2010, Asiana was also named best airline with respect to in-flight service in  which was the sixth honor for Asiana in recent times. By the same magazine Asiana airlines was named best airline in Northern Asia in 2010.The airlines has its international hub at Incheon airport.

Thai Airways International
The national Flag carrier and largest airlines of Thailand, Thai Airways has its Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok and offers flight services to more than 72 International  destinations spread across 35 countries through its fleet of 85 aircraft. The host in the airlines is also a specialty due to the adherence to their Traditional dress for international flights. Thai Airways International also holds the distinction of being the first Asia-Pacific airline to serve London Heathrow Airport. The airline is also among the Asian airlines having maximum number of flights to Europe.
