In a major relief for the people of Indian origin living in Bahrain, Air India has resumed its flights to Mumbai from the capital city of Bahrain. The Flight booking will be initially available on a bi-weekly basis and with this the Fifth destination to an Indian cities from Bahrain. The same flight that flies to Mimbai will also connect Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
There has been growth in revenues from the Air India Bahrain operations which stood at almost 40% revenue growth Compared yearly in 2010. Air India express caters to mostly domestic market in India But Air India Express Online Bookings are available for select few states in the Gulf. Also Air India express caters to the Low cost carrier segment and is very popular with the Indians residing in the Gulf region.
