With Air Asia deciding to Launch daily flights between Kolkata and Bangkok and the future plan of increasing the frequency to twice daily in six to eight months, it looks certain that other airlines are sure to offer similar steps.
Besides Air Asia, Thai Airways, Kingfisher Airlines, Jet Airways and Air India Express are already operating direct flights between Kolkata and Bangkok. The Air Asia step would be the perfect background for a fierce competition for garnering both Out Bound and Inbound travelers, it will also lead to slashing of prices for Air tickets by the major airline and thereby reducing their profit margins.
East Asia has been the center of attraction of most International airline due to increasing visitors to these countries for both leisure and corporate travel driven by the robust economic performance of the Asian countries. India in particular has seen not only increased tourist inflow but also seen a major rise in out bound tours to bot US as well as major Asian countries. The move by the private airlines assumes importance also because Air India Express has recently announced withdrawal of flights from any international sectors. Indian Airlines have been on an overdrive due to their rising operating profits and increasing consumer demand.

Cheap Flights Information:Emirates Airlines To Acquire 120 Aircraft For having a Competitive Edge
The war between Emirates airlines and European airlines is not going to relent any time on. This is when on the top of a line of orders for booting its fleet size, the airlines have now decided to acquire a fleet of at least 100 Airbus A380 super jumbos.Emirates increased the airline’s orders by a third to 90 in early so that the airlines baseline target of a fleet of 120 carriers is maintained.
Emirates is the world’s largest airline carriers in terms of passengers has been in growth trajectory since the economic recessions took over and emerged as a credible alternative to the European airlines. For Emirates airlines passenger rates are increasing by 20 percent every year and projected to continue for at least five years more. Emirates also ordered 30 of the wide-body 363-seaters earlier this year in a deal thought to be worth more than $9 billion.
More fleet size also means that not only Emirates can have market dynamism in meeting the market demands but can also offer cheap flights bookings which the European airlines have not been able to do till now.
There has also been a growing race within the airlines carrier fraternity to capture and capitalize on the growth trends of emerging markets such as China and India and here also Emirates airlines is leaving the European counterparts behind.

Cheap Flight Tickets Availability and Airlines Industry
Airline Industry is showing robust growth across all countries but no where it is more pronounced than that ot the Emerging economies. But the airlines Industry is feeling somewhat constrained in meeting the demands of the consumer due to poor Infrastructure development. This is particularly important with regards to the offering of Cheap Flight tickets for the low costs airlines models. Infrastructure development can go a long way in offering cheap flights by the major airlines carriers. According to some studies there have been increasing demands in emerging economies such as India and China but airline industry has been bogged down by the Infrastructure bottlenecks that are faced in terms of less air ports of landing facilities or even high fuel surcharge.
The major reason for airlines not being able to meet the rising demands are:
Less connectivity with major suburban cities
Constraints on limits on even major airports
For example, in relation to India The Center for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA), a Sydney-based research company, recently raised its estimate of annual traffic growth in India to 13%, from about 10% for the next 10 years, which would make it one of the highest growth rates in the world.Even though Bangalore, Delhi and Hyderabad have seen commendable airport infrastructure development, insufficient capacity at Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai could restrict growth of airlines. However, having said that, it is difficult to get a visibility on how well prepared (in terms if infrastructure) we are for a 13% growth every year over the next 10 years,” said the senior executive of the budget airline

American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia Joint Venture
The International flights sector operations competition was further intensified with coming together of some major airlines in a joint venture. In a significant development American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia air have launched their Joint Venture which will have a major impact on the European and American Travel and flight sector. Most important of all with the collaboration between the three airlines airfares are going to be reduced considerably. In recent time there have been a flurry of airlines cooperation deals such as that by Continental Airlines, SkyTeam alliance of Air France-KLM, Delta Airlines and Alitalia air.
The combined airlines will launch operations in four new routes - New York JFK-Budapest, Chicago-Helsinki, London Heathrow-San Diego and Madrid-Los Angeles from April. Mean time the airlines expect that increased code-sharing will drive prices down as customers will have a greater number of flights from which to choose if the price offered by the airlines happens to be different.
The airlines will have:
An aligned schedules will be launched spacing out departure times to give customers more flexibility.
Allowing Travelers to have Airlines booking on any of the three airlines' websites and check in at the desk of the airline they booked with or are flying.
Also the frequent flyer programs of all the three airlines have been aligned allowing greater customer flexibility.
The merger and acquisitions that the international airlines sector has undergone also implies the growing competition and decreasing profitability of major airlines flights operations and Flight Booking..

Air India To Have Non Stop Flights To US
The step which would have wide ranging impact on the Air India airlines viability on the Flights to US, starting from October 31, Air India will convert all flight from India to destinations in the United states as non stop flights which will skip The European Union altogether. The US Airports covered includes John F. Kennedy airport,Newark’s Liberty International Airport, Chicago’s ’Hare airport as well as Toronto airports in Canada. The offering are part of the Air India Frequent Flyer program run by Air India.
This reflect on the Air India economic viability as Industry experts feels that Air India’s decision has more to do with shutting down of its Frankfurt hub in an effort to slash airlines costs. The airline has already shut down its London-New York service that caused much concern, especially in north India, as it was a route that had started in 1955 and appealed to Indian holiday-makers visiting EU who preferred to visit family and relatives in London before proceeding to the US.
Most Probably Air India would fly its 238-seater Boeing 777-200 LRs(Long range) and its 342-seater Boeing 777-300 ERs (Extended range) to the United States. The decision to fly non-stop to North America would also turn out to be an expensive proposition and cost of Frequent flyer tickets as the planes would have to tank up on fuel to fly directly. Not only will Air India have to buy aviation turbine fuel (ATF) domestically at much higher prices than overseas, it will also need to carry a full tank load, forcing it to make adjustments in passenger and freight load and hence charge more from each traveler but also and slow down commuting speed. It Is noteworthy that such programs would not have any impact on the flights to India from US once these flights touch down in India they will connect to multiple destinations as before.
